SAP Business Analyst QM WM PM

Pay Range: $75,000 - $110,000
Description:
Position Overview:
Responsible for system design, configuration, development, needs analysis, and end user support within the SAP S4 environment. Analyze and evaluate existing and proposed systems and devise or modify process or configuration to solve business problems.  Ensure integration of SAP S4 processes with other technologies and systems. Support the existing Plant Maintenance (PM), Quality Management (QM) and Warehouse Management (WM) systems and processes.  Work closely on SAP S4 specific projects and tasks with key business and technical personnel, identifying and implementing automated or manual procedures or configuration changes.
 
Responsibilities:
·        Drive business value by providing SAP technical knowledge
·        Develop and implement solutions in the company’s PM, QM and WM environment
·        Understand  integration points to and from the supported areas
·        Partner with business process owners; identify functionality gaps and continuous improvement opportunities and develop appropriate business cases to maximize SAP’s ROI
·        Participate in development of systems and processes that extend the benefits of our SAP environment to internal and external customers
·        Partner with functional data owners and architects and approve master data design and processes as a result of business process changes to ensure complete, on-time and accurate master data records
·        Gather functional requirements for enhancements/development items, documenting scope, business requirements, system configuration, design, and functional specifications
·        Support custom solutions’ enhancements within SAP S4 as necessary
·        Work with ABAP and BI programmers and various technology and business specialists to provide solutions which are consistent with the MIS strategic direction and platform standards while meeting business requirements
·        Participate in technical upgrades by appropriately identifying integration points to support regression testing
·        Provide SAP technical leadership within the MIS team.  Combine technical expertise with business knowledge to provide direction and leadership to the business areas supported
·        Provide project management leadership or support
·        Serve as primary 24/7 support to end users and manage issue resolution related to the supported environment in compliance with established service level agreement
·        Improve the productivity and effectiveness of company members and partners by applying leadership skills, business acumen, and SAP knowledge
·         
Education:
·        Bachelor’s degree in the field of Computer Science or Information Systems or college degree in a related field required
 
Experience:
·        Minimum of 1-2 years’ support experience in SAP PM, QM or WM
·        Familiarity with SAP S4 architecture and proven understanding of ABAP, BASIS and database technologies
·        Experience in a 24/7 support environment preferred
·        Demonstrated experience working through a SAP upgrade and regression testing process
·        Business process definition, systems analysis, and systems design experience required
·        Project management experience preferred
·        Experience developing and delivering effective end user training preferred
·        Full system life cycle experience, including development lifecycle methodologies
·        Experience in Food or CPG (consumer packaged goods) within an operations environment a plus
